Abstract
[Italian abstract]La questione dei nomi propri nel Nuovo soggettario dovrà essere sviluppata dal punto di vista terminologico, sintattico, gestionale, anche in relazione alla possibilità di allestire un sistema di authority control. Nel thesaurus non sono presenti nomi propri ad eccezione di alcune classi che indicano nomi di eventi, feste, oggetti, ecc. Il Nuovo soggettario viene realizzato in contemporanea ai lavori della Commissione che sta rivedendo il codice italiano di catalogazione per autore (RICA). Questa coincidenza dovrà favorire contatti tra i due gruppi al fine di individuare soluzioni coerenti, ad esempio, su forma e lingua, nomi traslitterati, polisemia, uso di qualificazioni. [English abstract]The proper names will be structured according to their semantic relationships, their syntactic use within the subject strings and their data base management aspects, in order to create an authority control system in the near future. The Thesaurus at present does not contain proper names, except some names of events, objects, etc. The Nuovo soggettario system was built while the Commission for Italian cataloguing rules was working on a new code. This opportunity for joint work should promote contacts between the two study groups to reach coherent solutions to those issues regarding the forms of proper names, e.g. transliteration, polysemy, qualifiers.
