Abstract

Internet es el medio idóneo para compartir información. Las enormes ventajas que ha supuesto en la elaboración y la difusión de artículos, informes, documentos, etc. han de ir acompañadas de cambios o adaptaciones en los modos de redactar y presentar los contenidos. Nuestro objetivo fue confeccionar información básica sobre “open access” para los facultativos de un hospital en dos soportes, papel y Web, siguiendo las normas de legibilidad de cada formato.
Aunque la información es la misma, la forma de redactar los contenidos, el diseño, la tipografía, el estilo, la estructura y organización son muy diferentes y se aprecia en los dos “folletos” a los que ha dado lugar: el tríptico impreso y la página web.
Si un texto de información alcanza un buen nivel de legibilidad y comprensibilidad y está adaptado para ser leído en el soporte en el que va a ser visualizado conseguirá:
1. duplicar el número de lectores en contraposición a otro texto con menor legibilidad.
2. se leerá en la mitad de tiempo
3. los lectores lo entenderán y recordarán mejor.

The Internet is the ideal medium for sharing information. The enormous advantage, which has resulted in the development and dissemination of articles, reports, papers, etc., must be accompanied by changes or adjustments in the style of writing and presenting the content. Our goal was to write basic information about "open access" to the physicians in a hospital on two formats, paper and the Web, according to the rules of legibility and readability of each type.
Although the information is the same, the ways of writing content, design, typography, style, structure and organization, are very different and can be seen in the two "leaflets" to which the printed pamphlet and homepage have led.
If an informational text reaches a good level of readability and comprehensibility and it is adapted to be read in the media in which it will be viewed, it will achieve the following things:
1. Doubling the number of readers
2. It will read in half the time
3. Readers will be able to understand and remember better.
