Abstract
[Italian abstract] Il CILEA (Consorzio Interuniversitario Lombardo per l’Elaborazione Automatica) ha lanciato nel 1998 il progetto CDL (CILEA Digital Library), per rendere disponibile in modo capillare su Internet l’accesso alla letteratura scientifica e ad altri contenuti digitali di interesse per la ricerca e lo sviluppo. Nel corso degli anni, la possibilità e l’interesse ad impegnarsi nell’ambito dei beni culturali e costruire una propria offerta nel settore hanno portato il CILEA a sviluppare Codex[ml] V2, piattaforma integrata, sviluppata per la gestione, la conservazione e la fruizione on line di oggetti digitali che rappresentano Beni Culturali (libri, carte d'archivio, musica, foto, filmati, audio, musei virtuali, ricostruzioni tridimensionali ecc.), e proporne un utilizzo a enti e associazioni coinvolti nella conservazione digitale di Beni Culturali.
[English abstract] CILEA started in 1998 the CDL (CILEA Digital Library) project, to allow through the internet the access to scientific literature and to other digital contents of interest both for research and development. During the years, the chance and the interest to commit to the area of cultural heritage and to offer its own proposal lead CILEA to develop Codex[ml]V2. It is an integrated platform developed for the management, the preservation and the online fruition of digital objects representing cultural heritage (books, archival papers, music, photos, films, audio, virtual museums, three-dimensional reconstruction etc.), and it is aimed to associations and organizations involved into cultural heritage digital preservation.
