Ammesso che "ermeneutica" ed "euristica" siano per i più dei paroloni, il mondo delle BD abbonda di parole poco chiare, non solo agli utenti ma anche agli addetti. Vale la pena di aggiungere all'intricato idioma della BD 2.0 anche queste due parole, rimaste quasi inascoltate nei libri teoretici della Biblioteconomia 1.0, pur ostinatamente proposte da molti nostri "classici". Nostro compito è anche di chiarire il linguaggio con cui comunichiamo a noi stessi e agli altri i raggiungimenti del Manifesto delle BD e gli altri studi relativi, quindi in questo sforzo di chiarimento generalizzato di tutti i termini oscuri alla maggior parte degli utenti e degli addetti è essenziale un lavoro propedeutico di "presa di possesso" del significato profondo di tali termini, i.e. capire anzitutto noi quale è il senso e il bisogno di un'ermeneutica e di una euristica della BD, realizzarle e seguirle, fondare su tali basi i nostri studi, quindi approntare e comunicare la Biblioteca Digitale al mondo che l'aspetta.

Assumed that hermeneutic and heuristic are no more than words, Digital Library world abounds with words unclear, not only to users but to operators, too. It is worthy to add to the tangled world of DL 2.0 these two words, unheard in the theorethical books of the Library Science 1.0, though obstinately proposed by many of pur "classics". Our task is that of simplify to us and to the others the language of communication, of the reaching of the DL Manifesto and related studies. In this effort for a generalized simplification of all the words unclear to most of the users and operators, it is essential a propaedeutical work of "taking possession" of the deep meaning of such terms, first of all understanding what are the meaning and need of hermeneutic and heuristic in Digital Library, then achieving, following and founding on such bases our studies, and in the end preparing and communicating the DL to a world that is waiting for it.
