Se examinan diversas variantes relacionales entre la Bibliotecología y la Ciencia de la Información. Se propone un esquema clasificatorio del vínculo entre esas disciplinas. Se señalan aspectos puntuales del proceso de construcción histórica de ambas materias y se precisan los autores fundamentales de las diversas posiciones.

Some variants of the relations existing between library sciences and information sciences are examined. A classifying scheme of the link existing between these two disciplines is proposed. The main aspects of the process of historical construction of both subjects are stressed and the most important authors of different postions are dealt with.
