Se hace un recuento histórico a cerca del libro, las bibliotecas y los bibliotecólogos, llegando hasta nuestros días, además se particulariza en la situación de la Licenciatura en Bibliotecología de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, así como de sus egresados.

An historical account about the book, the libraries and librarianship, until present times, in addition it highlights the situation of the Undergraduate Degree Program in Library and Information Science of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the Nuevo Leon Autonomous University, Mexico, as well as the situation of its alumni.
