Abstract

This study concerns the construction of a faceted thesaurus for Islam vocabulary, with a specific focus to words dealing with Islam ideological speaking. Those words mostly arise from Islamic doctrine and tradition and are strategically used by Islamistic groups.
The work is made up of three chapters: the first introduces the whole project purposes, recipients and usages; the second describes the methodological apparatus, with particular regard to faceted classification; the third shows a prototype of the thesaurus; the Intruduction provides some corollary information useful for a better contextualization of the study.

Questo progetto riguarda la costruzione di un tesauro a faccette relativo all’Islam, con particolare attenzione a quei vocaboli attorno ai quali si articola il discorso ideologico islamista. Questi provengono in genere dalla dottrina e dalla tradizione islamica e vengono utilizzati in modo strategico dai gruppi islamisti.
Il lavoro è strutturato in tre capitoli: il primo presenta intenti, destinatari e usi del progetto; il secondo descrive l’apparato metodologico utilizzato per la costruzione del tesauro, con particolare riguardo alla classificazione a faccette; il terzo mostra un prototipo del tesauro; l'Introduzione fornisce informazioni di corollario utili a contestualizzare meglio il progetto.
