| abstract: | The area of the foreign serials published in Italy is a still enough field unexplored aside of librarians and Italian information specialists. The birth of multicultural libraries or of multicultural sections should increase the interest for the informative tools orientated to the foreign readers rather that to those Italians. These publications are important because they are published in Italy and done not matter from a foreign Country. They come realized in the tongue of the ethnic group of reference and often they restore also pages written in Italian. Besides they represent one tool privileged of integration and of spread of information and of knowledge. |
| othersabs_othabstracts: | Il settore della stampa periodica straniera realizzata in Italia è ancora poco esplorato da parte di bibliotecari e documentaristi del nostro paese, anche se la nascita di biblioteche multiculturali - o di sezioni multiculturali all'interno di una struttura bibliotecaria - dovrebbe accrescere l'interesse per gli strumenti informativi orientati ai lettori stranieri. L'importanza di queste pubblicazioni risiede nel fatto che sono prodotte in Italia e non importate da un Paese straniero, che vengono realizzate nella lingua del gruppo etnico di riferimento, e che spesso riportano anche pagine in italiano; esse dunque rappresentano uno strumento privilegiato d'integrazione, oltre che di diffusione di informazioni e di conoscenza. |
