The presentation is organised in 4 functional parts: the first deals with the original works of art (CDWA, schemas of the italian ICCD, particularly for the description of photos, by the Sovrintendenze ai monumenti, VRA); the second with the reproductions of work of arts (particularly VRA(core), ISBD(G) and MARC, DC); the third examines the schema that deal with the structure of the collections and archives (specially ISAD(G) and Sepia), and the fourth the functionalities and characteristics of the information systems: the OAIS schema is presented as well as the metadata architecture of the Library of Congress and the schema METS.
