The application of knowledge management in medical and health care organizations has been evaluated. Knowledge management in medical and health care organizations had been discussed under two subtopics in particular: The evolution of knowledge management in USA; Knowledge Management strategies adopted to manage explicit and tacit knowledge. The role of libraries and librarians in the process of knowledge management was emphasized as well.
