%X In this research, the sensitivities of the parents on the reading and library use habits of their children in the fifth grade of primary schools in 8 central districts in Ankara was studied. Based on the results obtained through  a questionnaire survey filled out by 344 fifth grade students, we found that parents are not enough sensitive to their children?s reading and library use habits and it affects the habits of the students negatively.
