| Abstract: | In this paper fulfils a study of the concept of social OPAC as a tool of diffusion of the information in the Library 2.0. After a brief analysis of the concept of Library 2.0 the text centres on an element of Web on 2.0: harnessing the collective intelligence. Its scope is defined, its sources are identified at academic libraries and the ways for use it in the OPAC. There are described the models of social OPAC nowadays existing mentioning examples of each one of them and there is enumerated a list of functionalities that a social OPAC can fulfil to turn into a useful tool for the academic community and the library. |
| Other Abstracts: | En la presente comunicación se realiza un estudio del concepto de OPAC social como herramienta de difusión de la información en la Biblioteca 2.0. Tras un breve análisis del concepto de Biblioteca 2.0 el texto se centra en uno de los elementos de la Web 2.0: el aprovechamiento de la inteligencia colectiva. Se define su alcance, se identifica sus fuentes en las bibliotecas universitarias y las vías de aplicación al OPAC. Se describen los modelos de OPAC social actualmente existentes citando ejemplos de cada uno de ellos y se enumera una serie de funcionalidades que puede cumplir un OPAC social para convertirse en una herramienta útil para la comunidad universitaria y la biblioteca. |
