| Abstract: | The topic of certification is dealt with in the context of the global society, where markets establish their rules and national states consequently adapt themselves to
deregulation, even in a very complex relation between voluntary standards and compulsory regulation. The concepts of quality, of management systems and of certification are illustrated. After a brief overview on the definitions of standards and of standardization institutes, the various types of certification are outlined: products/services, systems, personnel, with special emphasis on the I&D sector. The last section is dedicated to accreditation systems, that are the basis to validate the whole process. |
| Other Abstracts: | Viene trattato il tema della certificazione nel contesto della società globalizzata, in cui il mercato impone le sue regole e gli Stati nazionali si adeguano di conseguenza alla
deregulation, pur nei meandri di un complesso rapporto tra norma volontaria e norma cogente. Vengono quindi illustrati i concetti di qualità, di sistemi di gestione e di certificazione. Dopo aver effettuato un breve excursus sulle definizioni di norma e di ente normatore, vengono esaminate le diverse tipologie di certificazione: di prodotti/servizi, di sistemi, di personale, con particolare riguardo al settore della I&D. L'ultima parte è dedicata ai sistemi di accreditamento che costituiscono la base di validazione dell'intero processo. |
