| Abstract: | This article study the definition of "Library 2.0" and describes implications for all types of libraries inside and outside Spain, with special attention to Seville University library. The paper focusses on the practice of librarianship, specifically addressing how Web 2.0 technologies such as synchronous messaging and streaming media, blogs, wikis, social networks, tagging, RSS feeds, and mashups are changing how libraries provide access to their collections and user support for that access. |
| Other Abstracts: | Este artículo incide en la definición de "Biblioteca 2.0" y realiza un recorrido por las bibliotecas dentro y fuera de España, con especial atención a la biblioteca de la Universidad de Sevilla. Este documento se centra en la aplicación de las tecnologías de la web 2.0 (web social), mensagería instantanea, compartición de medias, blogs, wikis, redes sociales, etiquetados, RSS y mashups y como las bibliotecas están ofreciendo sus servicios a través de estas herramientas para un mejor servicio al usuario. |
