Abstract: Open Access advancements in December 2007. In USA on 26 December 2007 the USA President Bush signs the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2007: H. R. 2764 which requires that articles funded by National Institutes of Health (NIH) should be archived in PubMedCentral with a maximun embargo period of 12 months. In Europe on 17 December 2007 the European Research Council (ERC) publishes the European Research Council scientific council guidelines for Open Access.
Other Abstracts: L'articolo descrive due importanti progressi del movimento dell'Open Access nel 2007. Il 26 dicembre 2007 il Presidente degli Stati Uniti firma un atto in base al quale il deposito in PubMedCentral degli articoli finanziati dai NIH diventa obbligatorio. In Europa il 17 dicembre 2007 l'European Research Council invece approva e pubblica le European Research Council scientific council guidelines for Open Access.
