In USA on 26 December 2007 the USA President Bush signs the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2007: H. R. 2764 which requires that articles funded by National Institutes of Health (NIH) should be archived in PubMedCentral with a maximun embargo period of 12 months.
In Europe on 17 December 2007 the European Research Council (ERC) publishes the European Research Council scientific council guidelines for Open Access. |
