| Abstract: | [English Abstract] This presentation defines Open Access and gives an overview of the academic (teaching faculty) perspective on open access publishing and self-archiving and what it all means in the real-world university (library) environment. Some strategies are mentionned that could help the self-archiving movement.
[French Abstract] Cette présentation définit le Libre accès à l'information puis fait un survol du point de vue des chercheurs académiques quant à la publication en libre accès et de l'auto-archivage de leur(s) publication(s) au sein de dépôts institutionnels ou d'archives ouvertes. Il est également question de stratégies pouvant aider à mieux expliquer le phénomène du libre accès aux chercheurs et à les convaincre d'auto-archiver. |
