Internet, software libre, brecha digital y analfabetismo informacional una reflexión y discusión pendiente en la Universidad

Abstract

For the case of the University of Antioquia always there have been themes of great significance that to discuss, especially when to our activities of teaching, research, extension and management, with their respective conflicts and problematic –own of the thought and the university practice–, situations of security and budget caused by external actors, that overflow us and they affect all our task; but the fact that continue passing the time and executed actions and projects without discussing and don’t realize of the field research about the implications of the Internet in the University, such as: the software free, the digital divide and the information illiteracy; is a great threat that to future will generate troubled situations, and consequently, answers you revive among the different groups. This article places these themes and some alternatives of solution to discussion of all the university community.
