| Abstract: | This essay tries to reconstruct the systemic, epistemologic and ecologic view of knowledge, speech and art by anthropologist Gregory Bateson (1904-1980). By comparing with newer systemic approaches, a central idea lies in observing relations instead of substances in nature and mind. Complex areas as the connecton between conciousness and unconsciousness and the emergence of speech will be discussed in comparison with primitve forms of art and handcraft. |
| Other Abstracts: | Dieser Essay versucht die Sichtweise Gregory Batesons (1904-1980) auf Wissen, Sprache und nonverbalen Ausdruck zu rekonstruieren. Seine zentrale Idee liegt in der Aufwertung von Beziehungen. Es werden demnach die Zusammenhänge zwischen Bewusstsein und Sprache diskutiert und den nonverbalen Ausdrucksformen gegenüber gestellt. |
