| Abstract: | The increase in the use of the mobile web in the last years opens new opportunities for information access. A few Spanish libraries are developing interfaces adapted to mobile devices and providing their patrons new services that exploit the functionalities of handhelds. Aspects of the mobile web that libraries can exploit and the options that mobile devices offer to libraries will be shown in this communication. |
| Other Abstracts: | El impulso de la web móvil en los últimos años abre nuevas oportunidades en lo que al acceso a la información se refiere. Algunas bibliotecas españolas empiezan a tener en cuenta los dispositivos móviles para ofrecer a sus usuarios información adaptada a sus características y servicios que explotan las funcionalidades de estos. En la presente comunicación se mostrarán los aspectos de la web móvil que las bibliotecas están explotando en la actualidad y qué opciones nos ofrece, siguiendo para ello algunos ejemplos de buenas prácticas. |
