| Abstract: | Standardization is a core task in library science and information management, and it will become more and more relevant in electronically networked environments. Standards in the field of information science are grouped according to their purpose: describing and identifying informative resources, information exchange, collection management and service implementation. The present paper focuses on three standards providing bibliographic control: ISBD, ISBN, and ISSN. |
| Other Abstracts: | La normalización constituye una parte importante del trabajo en el campo de la biblioteconomía y de la gestión de la información, y lo será aún más en un entorno cada vez más conectado electrónicamente. Las normas en el ámbito documental pueden ser agrupadas según sus aplicaciones: describir e identificar recursos informativos, intercambiar información, gestionar las colecciones y proporcionar servicios. El presente trabajo se centra en tres normas que nos proporcionan control bibliográfico: ISBD, ISBN e ISSN. |
