| Abstract: | Se presentan algunas consideraciones sobre el estado actual de la gestión de contenidos en portales Web; así como la relación e importancia en la organización y su puesta en práctica a partir de las herramientas de software libre. Se abordan las competencias que posee el profesional de la información para desarrollar esta labor de gestión en la era de la sociedad de la información. La gestión de contenidos es una de las funciones más importantes del profesional de la información. En el contexto de Internet y los portales Web, la tarea de estos profesionales es gestionar la información para que esta llegue a los usuarios adecuados de forma adecuada y en el tiempo adecuado. |
| Other Abstracts: | Some considerations on the present status of the Web portal content management, as well as the relation and importance in the organization, and its implementation starting from the free software tools, are presented. The competences of the information professional to develop this management work in the era of the information society are approached. It is concluded that the Web content management is one of the most important functions of the information professional. In the Internet and Web portal contexts, the task of these professional is to manage the information so that the adequate users receive it properly and in due time. |
