| Abstract: | The paper analyzes the new role of librarians in the new digital ecosystem. Libraries, like reason, are not beyond its historical context, so it has gone from a stable and unchanging knowledge of the libraries were reflected as specialists in their classification and management, a complex knowledge, conflicting and discontinuous. A knowledge that digital tools have democratized, and where society is now able to understand, discuss and to make decisions by consensus. The library will not have a monopoly on interpretation, but it must be the intermediary that promotes dissension and interpretation. The digital skills which are necessary and how libraries should be responsible for training these qualified interpreters are described. |
| Other Abstracts: | Se analiza la nueva función y el nuevo rol de los bibliotecarios en el nuevo ecosistema digital. Las bibliotecas, al igual que la razón, no son ajenas a su contexto histórico; por tanto, se ha pasado de un conocimiento estable e inamovible, del que las bibliotecas eran reflejo como especialistas en su clasificación y ordenación, a un conocimiento complejo, conflictivo y discontinuo. Un conocimiento que las herramientas digitales han democratizado, y donde la sociedad es ahora capaz interpretar, deliberar y tomar decisiones consensuadas. La biblioteca, en su nuevo rol, ya no tendrá el monopolio de la interpretación, sino que deberá ser el mediador, el intermediario que fomente esa disensión e interpretación. Se mencionan las competencias digitales necesarias en los ciudadanos y cómo las bibliotecas deberán ser los responsables de formar a estos intérpretes cualificados. |
