| Abstract: | This business plan illustrates the AEPIC project: it is a model for electronic publishing’s documents produced by universities and research centers.
The aims are: analysis of actual technology, business dealings about electronic publishing and moreover how to build an innovative service for universities and research institutes.
The AEPIC intends to join on one hand the technical and scientific competences of CILEA and on the other hand to know the new needs of academic environment.
Furthermore, this project deals with new roles about e-publishing for libraries. |
| Other Abstracts: | Il Progetto si propone di realizzare una infrastruttura per la pubblicazione in formato elettronico di “documenti” prodotti nell’ambito delle attività istituzionali delle Università e degli Enti di ricerca. L’iniziativa è fondata su una analisi delle tecnologie disponibili, delle attuali condizioni di mercato dell’editoria elettronica e della esigenza di fornire un servizio innovativo agli Atenei e agli Istituti di Ricerca. Il Progetto intende coniugare le competenze tecnico-scientifiche maturate dal CILEA con le esigenze espresse dal mondo accademico e con la necessità di individuare nuovi ruoli per le biblioteche nell’ambito dell’e-publishing. |
