| Abstract: | We presented TINET (Tarragona InterNET), first Spanish citizen network or freenet, born in October of 1995 like initiative of the Fundació d'Estudis Universitaris city of Tarragona, a foundation of the city council of this city. In less than two years this initiative, directed to the inhabitants of Tarragona and its regions, has obtained that these have the highest index of user in all Spain. This natural introduction of the culture Telematics in our geographic and social scope is having an impact at all the levels in the tarraconense society. In this article we briefly described the present and the future immediate of this citizen, unique network in all Spain in the heat of operation at the present time (June of 1997). |
| Other Abstracts: | Presentamos TINET (Tarragona InterNET), la primera red ciudadana o freenet española, nacida en Octubre de 1995 como iniciativa de la Fundació d’Estudis Universitaris ciutat de Tarragona, una fundación del ayuntamiento de esta ciudad. En menos de dos años esta iniciativa, dirigida fundamentalmete a los habitantes de Tarragona y sus comarcas, ha conseguido que estas tengan el índice más alto de usuarios/habitante en toda España. Esta introducción natural de la cultura telemática en nuestro ámbito geográfico y social está teniendo un impacto a todos los niveles en la sociedad tarraconense. En este artículo describimos brevemente el presente y el futuro inmediato de esta red ciudadana, única en toda España en plena operación en la actualidad (Junio de 1997). |
