| Abstract: | Traditionally, along with the scientific magazines this "dark" literature has been vehicle of diffusion of science. The concept of gray Literature is analized and the conclusion is that the theoreticians do not agree in the limits of gray literature. The new forms of communication through Internet allow the exchange of information almost in real time; this is the greater revolution in relation with the past. Through the distribution lists, news, weblogs, etc., can be made an analysis and interpretation of the information, which generates new knowledge. The characteristics of weblogs study and they are compared with those of gray Literature, establishing common characteristics. But, in Internet a voice has been raised to equip with ISSN weblogs, considering them like publications. Also there is one who considers a journalism form. So, a reflection becomes: It is possible to systematize the phenomenon of weblogs and to consider them like members of gray Literature? |
| Other Abstracts: | Tradicionalmente, junto con las revistas científicas esta “oscura” literatura ha sido vehículo de difusión de la ciencia. Se parte del análisis del concepto de literatura gris y se observa que los teóricos no se ponen de acuerdo en sus límites. Las nuevas formas de comunicación a través de Internet permiten el intercambio de información casi en tiempo real; esta es la mayor revolución con respecto al pasado. A través de las listas de distribución, news, weblogs, etc., se puede realizar un análisis e interpretación de la información, lo que genera nuevo conocimiento. Se estudian las características de los weblogs y se comparan con las de la literatura gris, estableciendo características comunes. Pero, como contrapunto, en Internet se ha alzado una voz para dotar de ISSN a los weblogs, considerándolos como publicaciones seriadas. También hay quien los considera una forma de periodismo. Por todo ello, se hace una reflexión: ¿Es posible sistematizar el fenómeno de los weblogs y considerarlos como integrantes de la literatura gris? |
