| Abstract: | vascoda is an internet library portal to interdisciplinary scientific information. It was started in 2003 funded by the German Research Foundation and the Federal Ministry of Education and Reserach. In the current interview Uwe Rosemann talks about the objectives of vascoda, its partners and financing. Furthermore he informs about the project’s office as well as marketing. vascoda’s prospects and future development as a foundation stone for a German Digital Library will be mentioned. |
| Other Abstracts: | vascoda ist ein interdisziplinäres Internetportal für wissenschaftliche Fachinformation, das 2003 in Betrieb gegangen ist. Das aktuelle Interview mit Uwe Rosemann informiert über Ziele, Partner und Finanzierung von vascoda sowie über die Geschäftsstelle und das Marketing dieses von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) sowie vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) geförderten Projektes. Angesprochen werden auch die bisherige Entwicklung sowie die Perspektiven von vascoda, das den Grundstein einer Digitalen Bibliothek Deutschland bilden soll. |
