| Abstract: | In recent years researchers in all disciplines are using an increasing number of scientific data accessible though the Internet. These data collections can be found mostly in areas like economics, finance, biology, medicine, astronomy, geology, geography and environment. Many researchers perform their research in the network environment using these data collections. Developments in grid computing, investments in science and education in digital environment, emergence of e-science, open access and open source movement gave impulses for the open data access activities. In this presentation a summary of this global development will be given. |
| Other Abstracts: | Son yıllarda giderek artarak, tüm bilim dallarında araştırmacılar, Internet üzerinden erişilebilinen bilimsel verilerden yararlanmaktalar. Bu kaynaklar genellikle, ekonomi, finans, biyoloji, tıp, uzay, coğrafya ve çevre ile ilgili verileri içermekte. Birçok araştırmacı bu kaynakları kullanarak araştırmalarını elektronik ortamda yürütmekte. Ağ üzerinde hesaplamanın gelişmesi, çeşitli ülkelerde araştırma ve eğitim elektronik ortamda sürdürülebilmesi için gerekli yatırımların yapılması, açık veri hareketinin, açık erişim ve açık kaynaklar hareketleri yanının üçüncü bir boyut kazanmasını sağladı. Bu bildiride, konuyla ilgili gelişmeler ve ülkemize olası yansımaları ele alınacaktır. |
