| Abstract: | The problem of knowledge communication typically recurs during media revolutions, when new word technologies censure pre-existent social and cultural structures. Upon this theme some great philosophers of our tradition have reflected, above all before the division between natural sciences and spiritual sciences made forgetting to humanists that technical issues are also - and often especially - cultural and political issues. The conference analyses the up-to-dateness of platonic communication strategy, as theorized in Phaedrus. |
| Other Abstracts: | Il problema della comunicazione del sapere ricorre, tipicamente, in occasione delle rivoluzioni mediatiche, quando nuove tecnologie della parola mettono in discussione gli assetti sociali e culturali preesistenti. Su questo tema alcuni grandi filosofi della nostra tradizione hanno riflettuto, soprattutto prima che la divisione fra scienze della natura e scienze dello spirito facesse dimenticare agli umanisti che le questioni tecniche sono anche, e spesso soprattutto, culturali e politiche. La conferenza analizza l'attualità della strategia di comunicazione platonica, come teorizzata nel Fedro. |
