| Abstract: | This presentation starts explaining the reasons why identifiers are a must for digital libraries.
It reviews some of them and it explains how information systems can communicate them from each other.
It lists some Open Source software closely connected with identifiers and with their management.
It concludes with some considerations about the present situation. |
| Other Abstracts: | La presentazione si sofferma sui motivi che rendono necessari gli identificativi per le biblioteche digitali. Vengono passati in rassegna alcuni di essi e ci si sofferma su come i sistemi informatici possono comunicarli tra di loro. Sono illustrati alcuni software Open Source strettamente collegati agli identificativi e alla loro gestione. Si conclude con alcune considerazioni generali sulla situazione attuale. |
