Desarrollo de un Cuadro de Mando Integral aplicable a bibliotecas: descripción de las etapas para su creación y diseño

Abstract

The creation of value of the libraries happens more and more through the management of strategies with base in the knowledge unfolded by its intangible assets: the relation with the users, innovating services, effective internal processes of high quality, information technology, besides the capacities, abilities and motivations of the employees. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a tool to manage the strategy using criteria of measurement of the performance by means of indicators oriented to three perspective keys: the one of the users, the one of the internal processes and the third of the learning and growth, besides a fourth perspective that is the financier, displayed last because it is considered a consequence of the other three.The BSC or Control Board or Management Board is a management model that allows to check the implementation of a Strategic Plan or Objetives and to transfer them to the action. It is an information model that allows that the organization is informed-day by day-and in real time, about the advance in the achievement of the prearranged aims.
