| Abstract: | Academic libraries need to integrate their digital resources with the course management systems of the virtual campus. The library is a very important piece of this new learning and teaching model and its presence as an information resources and associated services platform has to be guaranteed in order to be embedded within the new virtual courses. Students must find the same library facilities in both the physical and the virtual environments and the library's goal should be to improve information literacy in this environment. This poster aim to show in a graphic way the work carried out by the library of the University of Seville in order to integrate their resources and services at all levels in collaboration with academic staff from different subject areas during the 2006/2007 academic course. |
| Other Abstracts: | Desde la perspectiva de la visión de REBIUN, y en su planificación hasta el 2010, las bibliotecas deben integrar la biblioteca digital en los campus virtuales de las universidades y potenciar el aprendizaje en red de estudiantes y profesores. La biblioteca universitaria, componente esencial del nuevo modelo de enseñanza-aprendizaje, debe tener su presencia garantizada como plataforma de recursos de información y servicios que se asocian a esos recursos, hasta conseguir lo que hemos llamado la biblioteca embebida en los cursos virtuales. Las plataformas educativas deben permitir que el alumno encuentre dentro de la asignatura todas las funcionalidades que se ofrecen dentro del espacio educativo físico tradicional, incluidos los recursos humanos y de información que la biblioteca ofrece.
El objetivo de este proyecto es conseguir la integración de la biblioteca, de sus recursos, productos y servicios en las asignaturas virtuales de la misma forma que están integrados en la docencia presencial. Su justificación responde al cometido de las bibliotecas universitarias de mejorar las competencias informacionales de los alumnos y de los propios docentes universitarios.
El trabajo que se expone es fruto de un proyecto conjunto realizado por bibliotecarios y profesores de la Universidad de Sevilla, pertenecientes a diversas áreas de conocimiento, durante el curso académico 2006/2007. |
