| Abstract: | The growth of telecommunications infrastructure in combination with the commands of information's society, offer new challenges for various applications in the past few years. The program Chilias is one of the few programs that were financed by the Program of Applications' Telematics of Directorate 13, Sector B5-Libraries. Aim of program is the creation of digital polymedia/multimedia library, available in Internet, that will provide information in basic interests of students of the age of 9-14 years. |
| Other Abstracts: | Η ανάπτυξη της τηλεπικοινωνιακής υποδομής σε συνδυασμό με τις επιταγές της κοινωνίας της πληροφόρησης προσφέρουν τα τελευταία χρόνια νέες προκλήσεις για ποικίλες εφαρμογές. Το πρόγραμμα Chilias είναι ένα από τα λίγα προγράμματα που χρηματοδοτήθηκαν από το Πρόγραμμα Τηλεματικών Εφαρμογών της Διεύθυνσης 13, Τομέας Β5-Βιβλιοθήκες. Σκοπός του προγράμματος είναι η δημιουργία μιας ψηφιακής πολύμεσης εικονικής βιβλιοθήκης, διαθέσιμης στο Internet, που θα παρέχει πληροφορίες σε βασικά ενδιαφέροντα μαθητών ηλικίας 9-14 ετών. |
