English abstract
This study examines global research trends in Health Research Information Systems (HRIS) through bibliometric analysis of Scopus-indexed publications from 1972 to 2026. Using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix, it analyzes publication trends, influential contributors, collaborations, and emerging themes. The findings highlight the growing importance of HRIS in evidence-based healthcare, with China, the United States, Australia, Spain, and the United Kingdom as major contributors. The study emphasizes technological advancement, data sharing, international collaboration, and the potential of AI and machine learning to strengthen HRIS for global health research and policy innovation.
