English abstract
This study proposes a scalable and interoperable technology architecture for strengthening Health Research Information Systems (HRIS) through a modular, layered framework. It integrates data acquisition, standardization, metadata management, analytics, interoperability, and secure access, while connecting institutional repositories, electronic health records, and researcher profiling platforms through open standards and APIs. Using system modelling, expert review, and comparative institutional analysis, the framework was evaluated for feasibility and performance. Findings indicate improved data integration, research visibility, governance, and decision support while maintaining security and compliance.
