English abstract

The article presents the results of a questionnaire proposed to students and former students of the Vatican School of Library Science on the evaluation of the cataloguer’s tools. The results bring out interesting points of reflection on the training needs, on the integration between theory and practice in teaching and on the evaluation of the working tools available to librarians.

Italian abstract

L’articolo presenta i risultati di un questionario sulla valutazione degli strumenti del catalogatore proposto ad allievi ed ex allievi della Scuola vaticana di biblioteconomia. I risultati del questionario fanno emergere interessanti spunti di riflessione sulle necessit formative, sull’integrazione fra teoria e pratica nell’insegnamento e sulla valutazione degli strumenti di lavoro a disposizione dei bibliotecari.
