English abstract

This study evaluates the psychometric properties of an instrument measuring job satisfaction among LIS professionals in ICT-enabled Central University libraries in Uttar Pradesh. Five constructs demonstrated high internal consistency, confirming the instrument’s reliability and validity. The instrument provides a robust framework for assessing job satisfaction and supports future research, institutional evaluation, evidence-based policy, and human resource development in academic libraries.
