English abstract
Subject indexing can be related to normative acts in the development of semantic metadataction aimed at not-book resources. The survey demonstrates how the indexing process by subject can be applied to this special type of resources, so as to facilitate their management in a knowledge organization. The study attempts to apply the Italian system of subject indexing in each of its steps, and practical examples are suggested on how to provide semantic access points that enable the search for regulatory acts by subject. A specific in-depth study is devoted to bringing out all the semantic aspects that can be considered with regards to the subject of a norm and how this can be declined in order to bring out firstly, what the “aboutness” of the resource is, secondly, what the “isness” of a normative act is, and finally, what is required to create strings of subject built based on the “ofness” of the resource.

L’indicizzazione per soggetto può essere applicata agli atti normativi e questo aspetto rappresenta un ulteriore sviluppo della metadatazione semantica rivolta a risorse non librarie. Il contributo dimostra come può essere applicato il processo di indicizzazione per soggetto a questo speciale tipo di risorse, così da favorirne la gestione in un sistema di organizzazione della conoscenza che ne permetta la descrizione e il recupero. Nello studio è tentata l’applicazione del sistema italiano di indicizzazione per soggetto in ogni suo passaggio e si suggeriscono pratici esempi su come fornire punti di accesso semantico che consentano la ricerca per argomento di atti normativi. È mostrato come effettuare l’analisi concettuale di un atto normativo soffermandosi su alcuni aspetti particolari e tipici del contenuto concettuale di questo tipo di risorse per procedere, in seguito, alla corretta individuazione dei ruoli di ogni termine al fine di creare stringhe di soggetto che siano in grado di rappresentare in modo completo il contenuto concettuale di una norma. Un approfondimento specifico è dedicato a far emergere quale sia l’aboutness dell’atto normativo, quale sia la isness e suggerire come creare stringhe di soggetto costruite basandosi sulla ofness.
