English abstract

This article examines the museological representation of Flemish and Dutch Baroque metapainting through the iconographic-iconological analysis of key works, articulated with the CIDOC CRM. The proposal is an interdisciplinary approach that connects art history, information science and museum documentation, demonstrating how deep meanings emerging in different typologies of metapainting can be formalized in semantic networks. The case studies include examples ranging from the autonomy of painting to the deconstruction of frames, highlighting the potential of the CIDOC CRM for heritage knowledge management.
