This paper makes a reflection about the semantic search engine Swoogle and about several features of the Semantic Web and, in general, the information retrieval on the Web. Swoogle is a project developed at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, which seeks in RDF and OWL files but also DALM and other languages of semantic projection. This paper uses as excuse the launch of Swoogle to reflect about Semantic Web, Information Retrieval on the Web and Web 2.0
