In Extremadura it is presented the Regional Strategy for the development of the Information and Comunication Technologies (ICT) materialized in the Infodex Project; on one hand making special reference to the participation which the Faculty of Documentation and Librarianship (FD&L) of Extremadura University (UEX) has had on it as the diffuser of a good highly valued in the new industry of information, and at the same time as the diffuser of the work done by the professionals of Documentation & Librarianship.
