This work is structured in two parts: 1) Information Science as integrating science and 2) systematic approach to the documentary units. The Information Science is seen with an integrating perspective, with the same modus operandi through the use of the technologies of the communication. From the General Systems Theory, we consider Information Science as a multidiscipline formed by the technical, elements and individuals subsystems.
