The aim of the article is to introduce a work of the Audiovisual Information Systems and Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia’s and its Library and the “Florida Centre de Formació “ Academic Library, funded by the Government, and now available at http://www.biblioteca-digital.net. It began with the lack of literature in Spanish language, written and standardized, and how to develop digital libraries. It’s a current topic and increasing its use in learning, so we consider the interest of undertakes its practical view. The contribution sets up and develops several topics, the base of the experimental project, WinEcs: -Analysis of the organization starts point. Auto evaluation -Methodology “how to planning the project”. -Costs study in front of the digital library establishment -Possibilities of collaborative work with consortiums -Legal requirements in Spain. The peculiarities of the documents includes in WinEcs, the register of cooperatives, allow the experience with the knowledge shown at this theoretical points. But, the importance of this digital library is, of course, the addition of document services to the collection. It's not usual this situation in other projects with documents digitised, usually oriented to materials with no author rights –like antique literature-. At last, it concludes with the need of national experiences in digital libraries and encourages the professional community to make suggestions for the project.
