Everyone speaks of digital library, but there is not an exact definition of it, yet. Despite years of discussions on this theme, scholars did not find an agreement on the term. William Y. Arms, teacher of information science at the Cornell University and founder of "D-Lib Magazine", tried recentrly to define the state of art in his essay "Digital Libraries".
