Criticizes means interpret the traditions and judge what it can be the more useful in the present moment. The categories that build the culture -the time, the concept of history, of space- are historicaly  produced. Every generations, every time, negotiate and consider them. The humorous literature is an example about this problem. Its inclusion/exclusion from the canon is changed in accordance with the different ages.
