A brief historical about the librarianship education in Mexico, which dates from 1916, year on was founded the first National School of Librarians and Archivists, until the creation of the new institutions of education and librarianship investigation in contemporary Mexico, with the excellent creation of the School of Information Science in the Independent National University of Mexico.
