A really interesting occasion: in the past there had been many meetings about topics related to digital libraries and similar subjects, but a conference being so specifically tailored on reference service was never organized. The scope of the conference was defining the state of art in the Italian situation, old and new problems, and above all the settings that we are to live in the new libraries reality.
