IFAD (Internazionale Fund for Agricultural Development) was founded in 1977 as a specialized United Nations agency. The Documents Centre begun its activity only in January 1997. In the same period of its creation, the project of reorganizing the archives begun. Now the Documents Centre is an operating and very active reality. It includes all the collections that were cited above and offers loan / information / bibliographic searches etc. services.
