Colloquiums of the Rudjer Boskovic Institute Library are regularly, monthly held from March 1999. Interesting and current topics in librarianship are presented by competent experts. Topics of colloquiums are: use of new information technologies in libraries, digital libraries, acquisition problems, consortia, cooperation, legal aspects of copyright, science and scientometrics. Goal of colloquiums is to educate librarians, to improve their communication and cooperation. Colloquiums contribute to continuing education of librarians and library users, Croatian scientists and students.
