TED has the aim to promote an all over reflection on the state of art of formation teaching technologies; the Teaching Technologies Development Programme (PSTD), promoted by MIUR, has recently concluded and the conference will give a summary of the results. The process of introduction of new and sophisticated teaching technologies, undoubtedly irreversible, is not a mere issue of presence of computers and internet; the heart of the process is the deep cultural transformation acting on the values in play of learning, of disciplines’ relationships, of new learning behaviours development, of learning methods and of teaching organization.
