Analysis of free and available CMS (Content Management Systems) in relation to a previous application at the Comune di Torino (information site on disabilities). Description of WCMS characteristics. The second chapter explains the meanings of content and content management, and offers an overview of the available open source management systems.  The thesis describes XML and the use of DTD for content definition, and the use of CSS for XML documents presentation.
